I just went to Ebay to look for the panel i needed for my bike. I ran across BMW belts they wanted anywhere from $44.66 to $58
They said it WILL fit all 9 BMWS some platinum n the rest standard from 2012 on up . Just thought i would let you all know.
can the standard belt work on the platnum edition sorry for the mispelling.

I posted about those belts, the torque output of the bike and bike weight make those cheap knock-off belts fail QUICKLY, too much trouble to keep changing belts every 800 to 1,000 miles. Motogenic in Italy sells the mitsuboshi belt for about $120.00 (depending on exchange rate) and these are the OEM manufacturer for BMW, I already have more miles on this belt that the 2 previous cheap belts combined. Also, I got the one from Italy quicker than the cheaper ones in the states, and Motogenic was fair and accurate with the currency exchange.
You can do an Internet search for the mitsuboshi belt for the C650GT and it will take you to their site, good people, fair and quick (can you tell I was a happy customer?) It's Carpimoto, NOT Motogenic, Don't know why the edit wouldn't take....
