C 600/650 drivetrain sprockets change tutorial?

I 've just changed the chain rail from first to second on my 2016 C 650 Sport (41000 km).
I know that a chain/sprockets replacement will take place in several years ahead, but I wanted to know what the procedure is.
My local workshops in Greece quoted a very high labor cost, mentioning that the front sprocket is difficult to access and that a lot of parts need to be removed.
Rear sprocket is easy to change, chain too, but front?

Does anyone have a video/picture tutorial?

I changed the rear sprocket last year when I replaced my chain after stage 4. The new rear sprocket I immediately started on stage 2 which leads me to believe the sprocket is a fraction smaller than the original. The only reason I replaced the sprocket was I had to remove it to replace the bearings at 92000km. I then ran the old chain for another 10000km to wear out the burrs. Then at 102000km I replace the chain

As for the front sprocket I did not replace for the reason you stated the work involved was to much. If the front sprocket really needs replacement the manual would not show how to do do the job by pulling the new chain through with the old chain. That's what I did

My manual says to replace the chain at 12,000 miles (aprx. 40,000km). So mine is due but I do not know what chain rail I am on as I bought the bike used. I am at the same mileage as you @Putnam. Did you decide to skip replacing the chain? I feel that the sprockets should be good and I only plan to replace the chain. What do you think?
I am unfamiliar with "stage 2 or 4 chain rails" but I assume this has something to do with chain tension so I need to research a bit and see what I have and how this system works. A video for tutorial would be great...

There is a "window" on the side of the chain's casing, where you can check the chain slack. There is an arrow where it points to the maximum position of the chain. Use a screwdriver to get the chain to the top position. If the middle of the chain (where the pins are) passes the point of the arrow, then you need to replace the chain rail.

I checked mine at 40500 km (25000 miles) and the chain got beyond the arrow, but just for 1-1,5mm. I got the second rail, installed it and now it doesn't reach that point.

So, I did not change the chain.

Keep in mind to visually inspect the rear sprocket since you will do this work. Mine shown no wear at all. Unfortunately, you do not have visual on the front sprocket.

I also got the risk, not to change the casing gasket. I did not even apply sealant. No leaks after 6000 km.
