C600 Body Guard

For lack of a better name, I will call it body guard. Does anyone know who makes this? Is there a version for the C600 Sport? Am keen to get this for the added protection plus a great place to install aux lights.

 
Yeah, no luck for the C600. Did you notice the clean handgards? I like that. Mine are OK looking but you can tell I hacked them to fit. These look nice.
 
How come the people who make these "Guards" never show a picture of it doing it's job. Yes, with the bike on it's side.Do we need to discuss the reasons.

Probably a better use then calling them guards.
Fuel cell? I think tool holder, although, maybe a large thermos bottle, map tube, welding rod holder.
 
Tools fit fine under the seat, but you wouldn't want to put anything flammable under there. At least, that's the logic behind that. 30 ounces is nearly a quart and that should be enough (in most places) to get you to the next gas station if you were foolish enough to not be paying attention to your fuel situation. And sometimes (most of the time?) it isn't even for you. We've got a guy in our club who (for some reason) is NOTORIOUS for running out of fuel on rides with us. Don't know why but I suspect HE is the major reason two of our members got those spare fuel cells to carry around. :p

Ah, your fuel tank is pretty much under your seat all ready. And a liter is enough, if all you need is a liter. Yes fuel management is probably a cheaper solution. You can put your tools anyplace you want , some people might like to put them in this tube.(There are many "tool tubes" on the internet) Why do you need to put the fuel container in a container.seems like a waste of volume. If you wanted to protect the fuel container, there are better places to put it, as it will hit the ground quickly where they put it in the picture.

I'm a BMW C600 rider from Singapore. Nice to make your acquaintances!

I was wondering, has anyone ever tried to make the C650 Wunderlich crash bar fit the C600? I would think that the mounting points would be similar, though some small modifications may be necessary for the fit at the front (headlights).

I was toying with the idea, and may go ahead with it if the modifications aren't too extensive.
 
One needs training to prevent running out of fuel. Thirty years flying in Alaska will do that for a person. I get real antsy whenever the fuel gauge on any vehicle I have gets below 1/4 tank.

My guess that there will be some interested C600 folks if you can make it fit. And, welcome aboard.

And yes, I do think that the C600 owners would be interested to see what it would be like too!

I'll be heading to the local distributor for Wunderlich products later this afternoon to see if they have 1 in stock, and try to see if it fits if they do!
