C650GT side assist retrofit

hello everybody and thanks in advance for your support.
in the next days I will receive my new C650GT 2019. In my country (argentina), the scooter doesn't come with the optional side view assist. I'm really interested in this feature, so the question is: can the side view assist be retrofitted? can I buy the system, and add it to my new bike like if it comes from new? any idea? any orientation? prices?.

All reviews have agreed it gives too many false alerts and does not work well enough to be a viable option. Be happy not to have it.

Just forget that system You will not be sorry. I mean, it's not useless. It has false positives but point is I haven't had a single false negative, or ... I have it ON when ther's no danger but I had never got OFF with danger. In time, you learn to recognize most of the false positives (trees, leaning on the sides, etc) so it is still marginally useful. So I like to have it, but it's not something I'd pay much for or go into trouble of retrofitting it.

I have this function, but it is practically useless, because all the objects on which it works are clearly visible in the mirrors. Mirrors are very good!
