Clock Change: What am I doing wrong??

Okay, so this morning we fell back from Daylight Savings back to Standard time. Naturally, I'd like to change the clock on the scooter. Took out the trusty Owner's Manual and tried to follow the instructions (I say "try" because they didn't seem to work).

According to the manual, you change the clock by turn the key to "off" and then back to "On." You then press the "Trip" key until "Trip 3" is displayed. Next, you press and hold the "Trip" key until the "Hours" begins to blink. You use "Trip" and "Mode" to cycle up and down.

That's all well and good, but... holding the "Trip" key never caused the hours to blink... all it did was reset "Trip 3" to "0.0."

WTF?? What did I miss??

No, not really... but the clock WAS easier to figure out.

1. Press Info until the date is displayed.
2. Hold down the Info until the month starts blinking.
3. Press and release Trip to advance the setting; Info to decrease.
4. Pres and hold to move through the various settings -- month --> day --> year --> hour --> minute (see step 3 to change each setting).
5. Once done, just wait and everything will stop blinking within about 10 seconds.

The time change screwed me up this weekend I had classes that I have to attend to renew my electricians license Saturday I was late and Sunday I was way to early I guess I can't blame the time change for Saturday but I am for Sunday, That should be my worse problem

Well, they got a slightly cheaper translator who mistakenly used dutch to translate to english. Probably saved them 50 euros.

I figure that I do not ride most of the winter so I just leave the clock on summer hours or if I change the clock I will just use my gs911

lol... chose not to change it to Daylight Savings Time, and kept it at Standard time. I call this move the "auto setting" for Standard Time...

In Illinois the riding season ends at the time change and the time changes back before you can ride again. It works out pretty good by doing nothing.

I've had my GT for 2 years this month and have never ever even bothered to set the time - lol!

The owner's manual that came with my bike has the correct procedure. I've changed the clock and date a few times after replacing the battery and for the Daylight Savings change. Never had a problem using the manual.

Some wierd glitch at C600, time stuck at 14:07 and never goes to 14:08.

Setting the hours to different number and then switching to set minutes results in resetting whatever hour back to 14:
Same with minutes. Setting it to different number and then finalizing procedure with holding "trip”button results in 14:07.

Disconnecting battery helps in a wierd way. Changing time from reset 0:00 won't work. But, starting from the date change and then following time change works! Clock is alive again.

If you ever experience smth like that - disconnect the battery, then reconnect and start from setting the date. Hope it could help someone with similar issues.
