Anyone else seeing this when leaving the bike on an overnight charge? The manual says I should take it to get checked out, but the light goes away after a couple minutes of riding.

It's normal. Since the battery is full, regenerated energy in braking can't be added to it. When a bit of the battery is used up, regen capability returns. I've read recommendations to not rely on "engine" braking during the brief period the yellow light is on, but I've never had it happen as it turns off very quickly.
