Just my luck - Sporting down the highway on my new 650 Sport with just a few hundred miles on her and I notice the "Lamp" warning comes on, OK no problem, pull over do a quick walk around and there it is - my left headlight bulb virtually exploded in the light assembly, fogging and burning different areas of the reflector. In my 45+ years on bikes and cars and trucks I never seen or heard of this happening! I also included some images on how I vacuumed the glass and spare parts out of the lamp to get another bulb installed until the replacement lamp assembly comes in.
I'm hoping that warranty will cover this because in certain respect the lamp assembly was not defective, it was the bulb!
