Givi SRA5105 rack install

I took my 2016 sport to the dealer to have the LED turn signals, oem alarm, and top case installed. They couldn't install the top case because they had to order replacement grip bars that have the holes.

Thanks Sporty, I think up to this years model they had the holes predrilled with a pressed in nut. I don't think it would be too hard to drill them and use a nylock nut.
 
This is kinda crappy of BMW to not supply grips that are pre-drilled to start with. They must know most people probably add a top case and or bag brackets of some kind. At some point they will realize that these small things don't mean anything, they mean everything when people leave the brand.
 
The dealership I bought my scoot from was upset too. $400 they have to pay for because they didn't know they had to order the parts. They didn't show up in the catalog when they first ordered them in early April. When they went to install this past weekend they noticed the handgrips with holes is now listed in the catalog.

Just called my dealer to order the hand rails with the mounting holes. He said we knew that you would need them and they got here about five minutes ago and your Givi stuff should be here by noon.
