You really don’t know how old your tires will be when you order them from an online vendor, sight-unseen. Today I received a fresh set of PR4’s from Revzilla, both with a date code of 1621, which indicates they’re only about four months old. Good job!

Yes, and for sure periodically check the dates on your vehicles. Here in Europe it's common to see trailers and caravans by the side of the highway with blown tires. Because they get used rarely, the tires never wear out, but they do dry out to the point of becoming dangerous. 10 years max seems to be the common opinion.
