The C650GT was probably the best scooter I've ever owned. Good power and handling, lots of tech (+and -), good build quality.,
Unfortunately, BMW's handling of issues is disappointing at best. Really couldn't figure who was worse, corporate or just the dealer.

As other people have stated, the dealer can make or break the brand. My "dealer" sells both Triumph and BMW and I've both. If it wasn't for the forums, I'd be up the creek. My only other option was to go to the next closest dealer, 120 miles one way...

Going back to mainstream scooterdum. Not near as extravagant, but generally pretty bulletproof.

I have a gs911 and it is a good thing to have if you do simple maintenance as you can reset your own service light or scan your computer system. I put an add on kijiji.ca for my local city as a service to offer for $45 and will pay for itself or every time you use it consider how much you save over time.

Hi everybody! This is to inform that I am no longer a scooter owner. I trade it off to R1200R LC for the good offer from the dealer toward the year end of 2016. In fact, it is hard for me coming to the decision but I couldn't afford owning 2 bikes at one time. Having 2 years with this C series, it is the best maxi scoot among the contenders. Manage to bring me up and back for over 12,000 miles with no breakdown, only routes with fire roads/gravel that cause a bit trouble but the rest put me coming home with big smile. I may not hesitate to take in this scoot again if situation permits in the near future. Wish you the best of riding!
