Hi from the Philippines

Picked up my scooter (C600) in Manila last week & rode home (Laoag city, Ilocos Norte, Philippines) about 350 miles. Man, what a machine. Love it!
I just got off a Big Dog, similar to a Harley FX. It was just getting to heavy & awkward at my age.

Do we have any members here in the Philippines? Like to hear from you if so. I'm a member of a little local bike club here in the PI. Road Rats.

Mabuhay! Born in the States, my father was from Pampango and my maternal grandfather was from the Visayas. Never learned Tagalog though... my mother was also American-born. Her mother was French Canadian. My grandfather didn't speak Tagalog either, only Visayan, so when my father and grandfather spoke it was always in English. However, whenever my mother and grandmother wanted to discuss something they didn't want us to know about they did speak French (just not enough for us to pick up anything).
