Hello, I am experiencing the pleasure of owning a maxiscuter BMW c650 gt 2017 with a mileage of 7000km. At the moment, this is the perfect device for me, but it has one feature that makes me a little sad, the engine starts after a few turns of the crankshaft starter and it does not depend on the temperature of the engine. On all my previous motorcycles, the launch took place from the first turn of the engine. Please tell me what is this feature of the BMW engine ?

@Dmddr

My 2018 C650GT does that too. It is somewhat disconcerting because I think it's not going to start -- then it does. Like you, all my other bikes start almost immediately.

I guess if the scooter always starts then this little phenomenon will only have the effect of slightly shorter starter life.

Hello! So you have the same, it seems to have solved the problem - "The dealer had one problem at the same time, they asked for the motor, now it starts up as it should, always)) when it starts for a split second, even the speed rises, before this did not happen, it turns out they added more fuel and now everything is super "

Welcome to the forum. This isn't a very busy forum.

From Russia To Love

Good one! :)

Thank! :) This is a VERY busy forum! Russia is not such a lively forum, because there are not so many of these scooters. People fear them because of poor quality. But those who ventured to buy this scooter are happy.
