Maintenance Schedule

If a mechanic consistently did a shoddy job, it wouldn't take long for him to be out of business. If a good mechanic slips up, they will correct the error at no cost to you because it is THEIR reputation and livelihood at stake as well. If you're not happy, he and his family don't eat. Simple as that.

bmw service interval

NICE! I will have to remember this for my own bike.

keep in mind that many European dealers often exaggerate service intervals to make them more appealing. the ten twenty thirty... once your break in service is done oil changes are at your discretion. personally I wouldn't wait past 4-5k miles on oil changes.

Hi there. I am in Toronto and have a 2013 C600 sport. I am approaching the 20k service.
I am thinking about having it serviced at a scooter shop. They recommend Dr. Pully's rollers at 28grams and a malossi belt. He didn't think that you need to replace the chainset so early as it is sealed with oil.

Any recommendations? thanks, backtolife

Do not use the molassi belt may not be a good idea unless you replace the pully set also (may be a different taper on the belt
Do not take the BMW to a shop that is not familiar with bmw. They do not have the manual for the specs needed or the tools too remove the belt.
