Newbie. New proud owner

Hi I would like to introduce myself. Dave Kennedy based in Sydney. Bought my Scooter two days ago. The gent I got it from nearly cried handing over the keys. I have always had scooters. Mainly Vespas and Lambrettas. I was very lucky as my wife bought me a Carbon Scomadi for my 50th two years ago. I still have it but it isn’t really powerful enough for the traffic here. I can not believe live how nice my Beemer is. Six years old 4000kms on the clock. I love it.

Welcome, Dave. Congratulations on your acquisition of the world's best scooter. Nothing beats BMW's blend of performance and design. I've owned two other brands of mega-scooters -- three Honda Silver Wing 600's and two Suzuki Burgman 650's. Both have their advantages (Silver Wing = reliable, easy to maintain and Burgman = big, plush ride), but the C650 GT is definitely in a class of its own. Enjoy!
