On Board computer/BMW Connected App malfunction

Upon purchase and use of the Connected app, the onboard computer and Connected app were accurate and synchronized

Now, the onboard computer appears to be showing inaccurate results in mileage. When fully charged the range displays 65 miles when it should be 79-80 miles

When charging, it is obvious that that Connected app is not synchronized with the onboard computer. That is, the onboard computer shows 100% charged while the Connected app shows, for example, 57% charged.

Any suggestions?

Hi depending your riding speed (let's says you like the Dynamic mode a lot...) the inboard computer calculated the amount of miles you can have depending how you drive.
So let's do a test and try to drive in a way to economized the battery and you will see the amount of miles stay hi. The important is the pourcentage of the charge and not the mileage. The computer always recalculate how much mileage with the way you drive your CE04.

It does. Thank you very much. I’ll switch from Dynamic to Eco for a period of time and see how it goes.

as for the Connected app, that’s another story. I found out it reflects the accurate charge status only when connected, goes back to the inaccurate one as soon as I turn off the machine. I’ll continue to work on this problem

Hi again what I've read on other platform, let's says the app is not perfect and problem of connectivity if you have a iPhone, it seem that BMW is not in a hurry to do updates ask by the users, I use it rarely except if I need to see on the map the road problem a head, and I live in Montreal and summer time mean zigzag around the road work...

Thanks again for your input. I use an iPhone and that app has been a real challenge. Sometimes it works well and other times it is “buggy”
