Has anyone tried a Russell Daylong saddle on a C600 yet? I had one on my motorcycle, and think it would be a good idea for long trips on the Scoot, So if you've done it and have a pic, I would like to see it.

Since Russell builds their saddles on the seat pan provided by their customers, you can always ask them if they've ever done the conversion and if so if you could see photos? Just a thought.
Everyone I know who's done the conversion on other bikes have sung their praises but I just can't get past how "Fugly" they look...

When I had my K75 I had a daylong built for my button as the original seat was like sitting on a plank. When I got off the original seat and sat on the curb the concrete was softer. I arranged with daylong to buy my pan for $35 as I had 2 seats this way while I had my seat built I could still ride. The seat was so comfortable when on it. When I sold my first K75 T and replaced it with another K75 T the handlebars were different, C bars vs T bars the seat was still comfy but the ride position was not as I was locked in a position closer to the bars. As Jaimes said fugly to look at.
I find the seat on the 650gt very compfortable.

Yes, "fugly", named after the famous Arthur Fugly who first made custom seats for Pony Express riders. I think his first shop was in the Bronx.

Ok, yeah, football is over. Golf not on the tv yet. Tons of snow outside. Inside house projects done. Just you guys or start my taxes. Hmmmm.

I'm at Russell having one fabricated today. My Air Hawk was okay but mostly I did not like the back rest so that will be a great improvement. Should be done in a couple hours and I'll send pictures. We did a trial test: The first thing I noticed was the Russel seat widening that gave me much more (customized) contact area. Loved it. They also built up just a little in the forward area of the seat so it felt more like I was centered in a saddle rather than no forward support. It felt amazing so I can't wait for the final in a couple hours. I also noticed a fabric option the employees used on their bikes. It is a Sunshade fabric used for heavy duty - well - sunshades - which is super durable and breathes while resisting water. They said it really makes a difference in hot weather. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

First 3 hour ride. Exceeded all my expectations. I liked the bike before and the seat was my only complaint. Now its awesome. It feels like a car bucket seat so far as how I fit in. The gray is a bit darker than my edited photo makes it look....

I work at a winery in St. Helena. Finally stopped raining. It's been cold. When I started off this morning it was only 66 degrees but now it's a nice 72.

After about 1000 miles of break-in I realized a slight push forward in the lower back area would make it "110%" perfect. Russell did a fantastic job with the adjustments. We had 50mph winds and crazy rain so I'll admit I rented a u-haul enclosed trailer to get there and back. I've never had a personally customized seat before and now I won't have a bike without one.

I had not been a fan of the RDL look, but have now changed my mind. It fits your bike's look perfectly.
