Service Light Software?

Hi

New to the forum so apologies if this is an old question.

Just had my C600 serviced by BMW and nthere were a few add ons recommended which didn't need doing. Coupled with the extra margin they charged on tyres, pads etc and labour- made for an expensive no riding day out!

I've got a great bike shop that has done my servicing for years on my previous scoots, Yamaha, Honda etc and he can do the servicing on this beauty but not reset the service indicator when it's done.

Any ideas people's would be appreciated?!

You can buy a diagnostic tool to connect to your bike and read the monitored parameters from the ECU and set the maintenance period alert to any distance or date you want. I have the GS911 Diagnostic tool, they aren't cheap but necessary to do much of your own work on the bike. A couple of months after I bought my GS911 my local dealer began stocking them. I have the wireless model which accesses my laptop or iPhone.
