Anyone bought just a silver seat cover? I parked next to a Burgman and the guy had a tiny cover that just fit the seat. I've been raising the seat during these hot days but can't always keep out of the sun.

I know BMW makes a fitted cover but I believe it is mostly black. I've been using a silver half cover when I park at work, it keeps the sun off the seat but also keeps the sun off the dash, handlebars, etc. Also makes a good cover if we get a light rain and keeps dust off. I've been using a Nelson-Riggs XL UV-2000, it fits pretty well even with a 46l top box on and even better with the top box off. It packs in a small bag and is quick and easy to put on and take off. Only issue I've had is if it gets really windy the wind can catch it and start to pull it off as wind can get under it, so I've had to remove it one time so far this summer. I'll try and remember to take a photo after work today to show it.

XL is right size. You will probable enjoy the free Koozie they send also. Glad to be of service.

The CoolAss folks are great. I contacted them a few years ago because the cover on my BV250 was beginning to wear after just one season. They said they were testing some new materials for folks that rode more than their typical customer (apparently Harley riders that rode only a few days a month). I ride 10,000+ miles/year and they were nice enough to replace it, no questions asked.
