Speedo Accuracy

Has anyone done any verification of the Speedo vs a GPS for accuracy?

Usually motorcycle speedometers ready high, Just wondering if the same is the case here..

That's very very good to know. I really got tired of my motorcycles not being accurate.

It also means I was doing faster than I anticipated. I was doing 75-80 indicated and it really didn't feel like I was going that fast, that's why I assumed it was reading high.

Mine is maybe 1 or 2 mph off the reading from the GPS. Nowhere near the 10% off I've noticed on the K1200LT.

I have found my speedometer on the bike reads 100 kph and the gps will read 98 kph.
(within 2% consistent through the range)

That is really good to know. Thanks for checking. I thought the speedometer on the BMW read high as everybody and their brother was passing me up. I guess I'll have to ride a bit faster.
