Having had the burgman 650 (2011) and purchasing one for my father (2005) and having no definable difference between them, other than he had a nice blue color and I had a metallic gray. It was just "Old" the styling and no major updates on the entire system other than the CVT hold down bolt? come on, sportbikes change body and performance upgrades on a regular basis. Even with the new plastic and still only minor changes to the clutch of the "new" burgman, was too little to late, at least for me. Not to mention that in the U.S. there is still no sign of landing here. When I saw and sat on the Sport model of the BMW line I was entranced, many upgrades and a sportbike appearance and seating I desire, so I bought it. If the GT was the only choice I don't know that I would have changed.

Could it be your friends are envious and just don't want you to have somthing that shows everyone fun and filtering are available to all?
