Has anyone got any video links on the c650gt to servicing the transmission & clutch as main dealers are way too expensive. They want to replace belts & chain at 12000 miles at a cost of £800 !! Will try & do it myself if easy enough & no special tools are required? Cheers guys
The part of the job that takes the most time is removing all the plastic then replaced at the end. All the plastic has to come off from the gas cap cover to the floorboards and the front upper and lower panels. Keep all things organized as they come off
As for special tools needed
1. a torque wrench (100nm)
2. The special holder (I paid $18 Canadian) picture attached with part number
Start in the morning it will take you half a day
While you have it open check the rollers and sliders (be ready with new ones (probably dr. Pulleys))
The belt and rollers are pretty easy and detailed in the "How-To" section of this forum. I have the Dr. Pulley HIT clutch sitting on my table and hope to install it (along with a new belt) in the next week or so. Hoping it's a straightforward swap with the OEM version.

It is a straightforward swap as long as you have a 60mm socket and a way to compress the spring under the clutch. A fairly strong person can compress it by hand.
