So I went haywire and picked up a Honda CTX700 DCT this past week. I have to tell you all that if I could figure out a way to take the motor and transmission out of the Honda and get it in the gt it would be a perfect machine. If you have never ridden anything with the dct transmission DO IT! Maybe Honda will release that Forza 750 to the US..If so I would sell everything and just have that.

Congrats on the new bike. Please continue to share your impressions. Nothing like Honda engineering and reliability.

I've been wondering, "Where do I go from here?" (after my third GT). I was intrigued by that Honda and looked at it twice in person. I was tempted to buy it both times but hated that I couldn't stretch out my legs. I'm definitely a cruiser-style rider. Plus the foot brake felt cumbersome. I love having my fingers curled over the brake grips. You can't get faster or more precise response.

Hmm, maybe where I go from here is just updating the GT with newer GT's.

If you do get a Honda bike, one of he first things to do is replace the cheap & flimsy kickstand. It is one of the first things that many riders replace on a Honda motorcycle. The original kickstand on a Honda motorcycle is not as robust as it should be and should be replaced with an after-market one.

Honda markets a scooter in Europe using this powerplant. Probably will be my next.
