What sort of range to you get from your GT?

Hi all

What sort of range do you get from your GT on a full tank of fuel? Assuming lets say an average of 80kph/50mph.

Don't know... I don't ride that slowly

But at a steady 70mph I usually tank up before 180 miles. Most I've ever taken was roughly three and a half gallons so I have almost three quarters of a gallon left (4.2 is the maximum).

Ran mine out to 208 miles a few weeks ago. Bring a gas can though if your goin for 200!

Easy 200 miles but I use non-ethanol fuel which is readily available in Oregon. I find that I make up the difference in cost on clear fuel vs premium in a 10% mpg increase

N.B. those figures are for our smaller US gallons, not your Imperial ones. Your mileage will be better than that!

There is some useful experiences shared in this thread, tho you'll have to interpret the U.S. Gallon vs emperior gallon thing.

Bottom line - my MPG ranges from 47ish (interstate, 70-85 mph) to 62ish (no-ethanol fuel, mountain riding in a group), so sometimes I need fuel at 180 miles and sometimes I can go 230 or more.

I've managed a bit over 240 miles on one tank but that was mostly back roads running a pretty steady 50mph.
