Windshield operating problem after battery gone flat

Battery on the brand new scooter with Antitheft alarm gone flat after unsuccessful stilling attempt.
However, now having problem with windshield not responding to the up/down switch. Battery is fully recharge and everything else is seams to me working..

Schneider, not an uncommon problem reported here. Typically occurs after battery issues and seems to be resolved by the dealer doing an ECU reset. Apparently it can get confused after loss of battery charge or battery disconnect.

100% correct. Had the same thing happened with my 2016 C 650 GT. The night before I was picking it up, the previous owner left the ignition switch on. I had to wait 4 hours while he charged the battery. That started the bike but suddenly the windscreen wasn't working. Ironically, it was this forum that led me to an ECU reset at a dealer (which charged me $90, which seems outrageous, but that's another issue).

Yah, hard to grasp why UP/DOWN switch for windshield little motor need to be controlled by computer. Now, have to travel 600Km to the dealer to sort it out. However, 600Km of riding, yahoo! ))

I can say, with no doubt, the GS-911 CAN re calibrate the windshield, I did my 2013 last night. (I know this is an older post, but I tried to find this out before spending the $400 and couldn't find for sure anywhere). This may be an updated function that came out in the June 2020 update.
