    Maintenance Schedule

my tech said along with the belt change at 12K, the chain and sprocket will need replacing at that time, too. he said sport bikes typically have their chains and sprockets replaced every 10K, so maybe that makes sense? and it doesn't sound like the belt is easy to get to. he thought maybe BMW...

    Rust!!! WTF??!!

i've got a nice, big and bright, super-dry garage. the scoot was merely parked outside my office one day in the drizzle (i ride all the time, not just sunny days). it's been drizzly/foggy/rainy around here in wi for the past month. regardless, these levers should not be doing this, reminds me...

    New C600 Owner

forgot to add that i just filled up today with 205 miles on the clock for this tank. i'm thinking that's pushing it, as i put in 4.2gals in the 4.2 "usable fuel" tank, whatever that's supposed to mean. do you think that is the total for the tank, including reserve? they're not real clear on...

    New C600 Owner

thanks. and congrats to you, too. might be fun to have a rally someday, somewhere. i'm inching up on 1,000 miles here since i picked it up a couple weeks ago, and am trying to get some miles in before the snow (and salt) flies. my windshield is up as high as it goes, and the breeze hits me...

    Maintenance Schedule

anybody see any schedule for these things? the owner's manual just makes it sound like "annually", but no schedule as far as valve adjustments, etc. i'm guessing they are supposing we won't put a lot of miles on annually??? what about us 10K'ers? i'd really like to see a schedule somewhere!
