Hmm...just got done watching the McCuff video. I can see that it won't work with the BMW. Why? Because all I will be accomplishing by sticking the end of the nozzle thru the McCuff is a couple of inches distance from the gas tank. At the rate gas is dispensed out of these high pressure nozzles...

I've honestly haven't tried that. Must be because I'm 6'1" and not keen on bending over to see where the point of the nozzle ends up. I'm gonna really try that next time. Also, appreciate the link to the gadget...if all else fails, I'll be ordering one of those!

Years ago (read;when I was younger) riding for me was fun... Nowadays I ride with more protective gear than what I was used to. In essence, the fun is not there anymore. It's very practical, but, not fun anymore...at least for me.

nhoelb, I get that. What I'm talking about is that some gas stations pumps/nozzles no matter how light of a squeeze you use, it still too strong.

I find that the filler area is way too short. If I go to a gas station that has high pressure nozzles, I always spill fuel. I then move to another gas station and try again. Is there a readily available solution to this? I'm guessing some sort of funnel is in order, but I want to hear what your...

The plastic tong like things on both sides of the instrument panel that can be moved outwards? If it is some kind of wind deflectors, they're not very effective IMHO.
