Shouldn't lose ANY top end; in fact might gain a bit as the Sliding Pulley WEDGE geometry gives you a bit of over-range at high speeds and actually can DROP the RPMs a bit...

I had great success installing these on my Honda Silverwing but can't remember how I actually purchased them. Any recommendations?

I will have dyno results once I also get my Variator from Malossi. My dyno guy will be winding down the Dynos for the racers and will have time, probably next month, I hope. I will keep everyone posted with the results as they come.

Hi, did you have the dyno test ?

it's posted in the gallery. the Power didn't increase much but the output was more stable and felt stronger. the stock clutch has more shoes but you could see it didn't contact all the pad. The dr pulley locks in with the pillow blocks. I won't really know till I get a few thousand on the road and put on the dyno again to see the seated clutch again. The HP went up and the Tq went down. It.s only 2hp up to 52 and .6ftlbs down. but remember thats at the wheel. the biggest problem with it getting dyno'd is that it goes thru the gears and you cang keep ine gear to perform a proper test like a normal bike. By the way, the Dyno is stock weights versus Mallosi mixed weight (22/24 gram) with 3500rpm engagment. the lighter wieghts were just not very streetable.

I had the Dr Pulley Hit clutch and 28gm rollers installed on my C 600. Used the springs that came with the clutch. I noticed a significant change in throttle responsiveness. It's like it's a different bike altogether.

However, when I close the throttle, I hear this sound like my brakes squealing. I also feel like I have engine brake. what could be wrong?

You get stronger engine braking with the Dr. Pulley Sliders; not sure what the noise might be, though...

Thanks Skutor. I read somewhere that you need to run in the bike for 100 kms to break it in. Just worried about the noise.

Here's an update. Brought the scoot back. Had the clutch springs changed. I went for the red springs. No more noise. Fantastic! It's a different bike.

there should have been a small sticker on the red weights bag; how many Kg's are they? and were they on the clutch plates or pillow blocks?

From the Dr. Pulley website as per the link on the first post. They shipped the next day after receiving my order! That's German efficiency for you!

Ok, I just ordered a 28 gram set and the extra sliding pieces.

Have any of you folks done this yourself? I did the sliders on my last scooter and I needed to special tool of sorts to hold the variator to brake the nut loose (same on install too)
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for the Do It Yourself guys?
