As I discovered last summer, a CVT is NOT the ideal transmission for poor to very poor traction situations. When trying to ride off of mud and wet grass, the rear tire would just spin right up no matter how gingerly I applied the throttle. Getting to the asphalt on two wheels was definitely a test of my balance and patience! With that in mind, I can imagine what kind of a dirt bike a CVT would make... hope you like going sideways!
What would have happened if you had been equipped with a set of aggressive knobby tires?
A very powerful motor and large rear sprocket tends to want to turn a dirt bike a bit sideways on hard acceleration.
