I'm loving my new ride. It is so smooth on the highway, is able to makes its way with ease around and through the terrible cracks and potholes here in San Diego, and it's just a fantastic machine. I've never owned a motorcycle. I started riding 6 years ago. I've had a Vespa GTV 250, Piaggio Fly 150 and BV 350. I don't really have an interest for anything larger than the C650S because I want to easily make my way through the city traffic here in San Diego. I do love this bike. Perfect amount of storage and great performance. I will have to head back up to BMW motorcycles of Riverside in a couple weeks so they can install the alarm and top case. That will be the longest trip I've made on the freeway. The ride from my house to the dealer is 100 miles. The farthest I've gone so far is from North Park to La Jolla for the VA hospital and UC San Diego. I've been taking more trips in the freeway to get used to the handling and speed. I'm so used to just making my way through town on surface streets.
