Hi all.
I've read this forum (and others) back to front, but can't find any video/audio of what the timing chain tensioner sounds like when it's beginning to fail.
Issue for me is I have 1700km on the clock of my 2015 C600, which should obviously have the new tensioner in it, but I've started developing a wierd, almost rhythmic rattling from the front right (which I understand is exactly where the tensioner is). It's somewhat audible at idle, but really noticeable at part throttle - I've the sound seems to bounce off the road or walls (in a tunnel for example). If I park the bike on its stand and crack the throttle a little, I can hear this sort of metal rattling that seems to be getting louder - but could just be my head.
I'm wondering if anyone has some audio or video available so that I can validate my concern?
Cheers
