I'm convinced! My new C600

I've got the iPhone 5c and a SENA 20. I just use the Google navigation in the phone with SIRI and it's easy...and works better than my old GARMIN...

I just keep the phone either plugged-into the 12v socket or in my pocket.

(I've heard that "Ram Mounts" are better suited to lonely nights in the Scottish countryside...)

Yep, me too. I generally keep my iPhone 5s in my pocket or in the cubby charging if the battery is low. The Sena 5 in my helmet links to it nicely. Siri keeps me from getting lost. I also have a CB that I attach with Velcro to the lid of the left cubby that's connected to my Sena SM10 so I have intercom, iPhone, CB and navigation all wirelessly. Works well until I get up to 70mph then the noise is a problem. The only thing I'm lacking from my old Goldwing is the cruise control for which I have to wait until the warranty is gone to install. This scooter is becoming a fine mini-tourer.

BTW - Skutorr you might better off with a ewe mount.;)
Or in this country U-Haul.

What a bike! Went for a ride today on some familiar roads. Not fair to compare to my Aprilia being a 250cc and 320 lbs (it is a great city scooter).

Some observations: the on demand power is great. Other than noise, the windshield works fine for me. The bike really feels planted too. So far it appears to be just what I wanted.

I'm trying to figure location. Vineyards make me think Napa. Would the dam be lake berryessa? Seems too big for that though..

Fresno; right on the San Joaquin River. Millerton Lake in the background and the House, not mine is backed up to the River. The town of Millerton was the the original Fresno, way back when. Voters were given a free shot of whiskey for voting to move the town proper from Millerton (aka Fresno Flats) to it's current location about 25 miles away.

Edited the vineyard pic. I mess with pics slightly photo processing; not hardcore, just for my own know how. I just found out that when saving pics from my phone to google+, the file size gets significantly reduced. Anyway, sent this directly to my drive then edited it on the computer.

And this was edited with snapseed on the phone, then loaded to google drive; then here.

Hey, we did our Four Passes Tour of the Sierras this last Spring starting in Oakhurst, just north of Fresno! We are thinking of another Spring 2015 Tour going further North, around Tahoe, etc. Interested?

(Xian Forbes was planning to meet up with us this year, but his C600 was stuck in the shop for warranty work for an AGE and missed it...)

Saw that, definitely interested. I took my Aprilia from Oakhurst to Mariposa last summer; my only distance ride.

Went out again this morning. With the recent rains, the sky has cleared and the sun was out.

Detoured to grab a tag for another forum, my alumni, Fresno State. Then stopped to take a quick pic along my route.

All was well until I decided to stop about 20 minutes from home. Not sure how exactly, but she started to fall. I stopped it but couldn't bring it all the way back so I let it down all the way, or so I thought. Apparently it wasn't completely down when I let go.

The pics are in backwards order, taptalk, lol.

Well now, at least THAT'S out of the way...

Pretty much what I said, after I said some other things. I'll see if the local dealer can get one and have it done the same time as my initial service. I just hit 500 miles on my way home.

Been there, done that. And I was lucky enough to have an audience. ;)

My bike still loves me though. Fixed her up and now she is better than new.

Scheduled for service/repair next Saturday. The dealer mentioned the handlebar recall when I asked about replacing the break lever. So, I'll find out more next weekend. Should be same day service he said, as long as I'm there at opening.
